Question Issues with video stuttering and audio delays/crackling

Hi all.

Recently built a new PC:

B550 Pro4
5700xt,
Ryzen 5 3600.

First time going with AMD products and so far I'm less than impressed. Been using the pc for heavy gaming the past week and as of yesterday I have major audio issues (crackling, delays) and video stutters (fps meter reading a constant 60 but plays as if I have 20 or less at times). Issues began the moment I switched from an external wifi adapter to ethernet. I assumed that meant I needed to update more drivers but that has fixed nothing.

As far as I'm aware I'm up to date on all drivers. I've tried several fixes that people have posted here and elsewhere and nothing seems to be working.

Any advice?

If you were at the doctor's office with a cough and there was another patient waiting with a cough who was called before you, you wouldn't follow them to the examination room, would you? Hopefully the answer is no!
