Issues with Windows 10 Updates...

Good Morning,

I have tried to devote my laptop to fall of course with the windows updates, since the spectre bug has official came out. Anyway, update KB4056892 consistently is failing. I let it restart a few times, and I even tried to uninstall the update in the Programs & Features for Windows Updates. (Not working)

Any ideas? I don't feel like going to Linux just for this stupid update, however I was thinking about installing a different FREE antivirus for the time being. I don't really use this laptop for anything, expect for school work.

Problem solved. I ended up hiding the update, and figuring a way to 'skip' or disable it. Restarted a few times & ran a few tests.

what if u dont have a cd and ur laptop came with windows 10 installed?

there was a bug where it would install but would report that the patch failed to install.
just ignore and pick up the newer patches.
