It worth to update 4770 to 4770k?

As the title say , it worths to update cpu 4770 to 4770k?

I built my pc (only for gaming , fb-skype ,movies etc ) , and iam not really lets say '' hardwares-funboy 😛'' so i ddnt ever know about oc , now iam start to learn more about these thinks.
So if i had the 4770k with an oc that will be helping on gaming so much more than simmple 4770? i mean i would see more fps ? or better graphics ? that i will worth to spend another 300 euros for 4770k ?

And something else , my other ''mistake'' was a cheap motherboard . I took the asus H87M-PLUS. my point is : iam about to plan buy a gtx780 and my question is ''i have to update my m-b or i can keep it?'' iam always talking about my gaming results .

If you want to OC, sure, but with a cheap MoBo OC'ing isn't recommended.

Any reason why you want to make the jump?

To OC "K" version of CPU you need Z87 chipset mobo, and you won't notice the difference in single player gaming so i think it's not worth the money!!!

No I see absolutely NO reason to do that. You won't be able to overclock on a H87 board anyway. The H87 is not a "cheap" board by any means, it just doesn't support overclocking. The mistake you made was not getting a Xeon e3-1230v3 instead of the 4770. You could have saved $60-70.

I didnt know anything when i build my pc like i said , i just wanted a gaming pc
and i heard that i-7 4770 was a good cpu and will be able to last 2-3 years for high-ultra gaming

i7 is overkill for gaming, i5 4670k is just fine, and will last 2-4+ years.

As far as gaming goes the gain you MAY get from an OC is very minimal. I had an OC on my 6350 at 4.8ghz and I put it back to the stock 3.9ghz and I maybe lost 4-5 fps. Games are normally GPU dependent for performance.

4770 is a good CPU for gaming same like 4670 but for good graphics you need powerful GPU, most games are GPU intensive!

As far as gaming goes the gain you MAY get from an OC is very minimal. I had an OC on my 6350 at 4.8ghz and I put it back to the stock 3.9ghz and I maybe lost 4-5 fps. Games are normally GPU dependent for performance.

That means you had a slight CPU bottleneck quite possibly 😛 or even that the game was more CPU dependent then you previously thought. 😀

Technically there is always going to be a bottleneck, whether slightly or noticeably.
