iTunes Audio Output Device Incorrect

I recently installed a Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I Network Card, and am using it to connect to a Creative Bluetooth Speaker setup. I go back and forth between using the bluetooth audio out and a Denon receiver that is connected via HDMI, and located in a different room.

For some reason, if I have iTunes open, it will continue to play through whichever audio device was selected when it was opened. If I'm playing music through bluetooth, and change my audio output to my Denon, iTunes will continue to play through bluetooth, though my computer's other sounds are now playing out of my Denon. Pausing and replaying iTunes doesn't change anything; I have to close out of the program entirely, restart, and then iTunes will play through the newly selected audio source.

So far this problem seems to be unique to iTunes. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm pretty stumped.

Solution
It seems iTunes is locked into whatever the default sound device is set to when you open it.
Here's a two-weeks old thread: http://www.reddit.com/r/audio/comments/2uf0ew/itunes_doesnt_respond_to_change_of_default_audio/
Doesn't adopt the change until you close & re-open it.

Haven't found a fix.

Thanks... it's good to know I'm not the only one. I'll stand by for a fix from Apple.
