Cant't login into Office or Teams on my personal PC, the app just gives me an error code 2603 or a comm saying We can't connect you. Same with trying to access login.microsoft through Chrome, I get an error ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED and a comm saying that I have no internet access. Other than that any other website or program works with no issue. Would really appreciate the help :)

.............and also, if you're running a third-party security program then disable it temporarily for testing purposes.

Oh, and by the way, restart your computer first by choosing RESTART from the power options because that simple task can frequently solve all manner of Windows glitches.

When did the problem start?

Any related error codes, warnings, or informational events in Reliability History/Monitor or Event Viewer?

Check in Update History for any failed or problem updates.

Tried restarting a couple times to no avail

All updates succesfully installed in Update History, Event Viewer reports "The Network List Manager reports no connectivity to the internet." and "A connection to the Windows Update service could not be established." in DeviceSetupManager

Are there a lot of those "DeviceSetupManager" errors showing up in Event Viewer?

Look in Custom Views > Administrative Events.

I remember a couple of recent threads with that error and my own system had hundreds of them but no harm noted. However, I have been watching the logs and looking for the reason(s).

What Event IDs are listed? I am seeing 131, 200, 201, 202..... 6155 at boot up.

I cleared the log using PowerShell just a couple of weeks ago.

I have noted a pattern showing about 40 minutes between errors. Today's error/warrning entries included five successive 131 errors 40 seconds apart. Began about 10 minutes after boot up.

Will investigate further as time permits. Goal is to match the event log times to things that I know I have done or that the system did.

One immedidate suggestion: try "dism" and "sfc /scannow".

FYI:

Just as a matter of elimination.

Update: All issues resolved both in browser and locally (MS Teams app, Office) after turning Win Def Firewall off. Gotta love Microsoft
