I've bought a new 377g 3g micromax modem, but when I inserted it in my laptop, its showing an error that " the source file is corrupted". what does it mean? how it'll work properly? plz help...

If it's showing that error whilst you trying to install the modem's driver, it's one or more of the driver files that are corrupted.
You can download the driver package from the modem manufacturer's website.
