I'm looking for spend around 400-500 CAD, and not really sure where to go, alot of the gpus in cad, are around that 200-300 mark which is almost half the build,

I would be spending my time gaming, mostly at 1080 144hz, + around that range im looking to get, in

Looking to plays fps games,

And all that, medium settings @ 1080p = ~55FPS. Far cry from 144 Hz (144 FPS).

So, you're much better off looking 2nd hand market for used PCs.

Unless you can find some crazy special at a store near to you, buying new isn't going to happen with that budget. You would need 650 - 750 for something somewhat decent. Are you opposed to buying used?
