hello guys i have a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and an RX 580 GPU,

I am trying to achieve around 180-240 fps on Black Ops 6 so could anyone advise me on what my upgrade path should be to achieve this? 1080p is fine btw. I will note that currantly I am getting around 90 fps with only one 8GB stick of DDR4 RAM, so I will upgrade that as well. I am a bit of a noob with this so any more info jus ask please, I need all the help i can get.

You do realize you are essentially building a new PC, right?

Gains? Some non-zero percentage improvement. Depends on a bazillion different factors.

I would recommend doing this. Install your new memory. Upgrade the GPU/PSU. Then, see how your rig performs for you.

Change other stuff later, if necessary.

Ok thanks a lot you sold me into saving 200 for the time being 😂 can you be honest tho how good is my current cpu and also will it be a noticeable change going from 8gb ram to 32gb
Current CPU is fine for most uses. Increasing memory will (especially going from single to dual channel) will help a lot. Will definitely reduce times with OS uses virtual memory. System will feel smoother overall.

It sounds like you are getting good advice. Grab a new power supply and gpu. Measure in the case to make sure a bigger card will fit though.

If needed you can get a 5700x3d which isn’t bad, but truthfully if you have a Microcenter near you, you can get a combo deal with a new motherboard, cpu and 16gb of ram starting for 300. So that idea almost makes the idea of the 5700x3d not great imo.
