A week ago I built a new PC, with a 1TB Seagate Barracuda and a 250GB Samsung 860 EVO SSD, then I made a mistake when installing the OS, I installed it on to the HDD as at that time, I didnt want windows to take up space on SSD where I would have my games on. However my uncle who told me about which parts I should buy only now told me that its better to have it on the SSD as my system will run 100x faster, also the Windows is licensed (actually paid 100$ for it) and want it to have the license valid if it is moved onto the SSD, it is OEM

Solution
Yes, just clone the hdd to ssd using Samsung Data Migration tool.
Just make sure the occupied space on C drive is not more than the total capacity of the ssd

Do I need to make any copies of the HDD if something goes wrong, Ive uninstalled most of the games from the HDD, theres 70gb on it now, while the SSD has 150GB avaiable

If you do this clone operation, everything on the SSD will be wiped out.

You have 2 options:

1. Cloning to the SSD.
Relatively easy, but we need to check some thing first.

2. Since this is a week old PC, start over.
Clean install on the SSD. This means a reinstall of everything else as well.

Which way would you like to go?
Detailed procedures can be provided for each option.
