True, but if you look at the E2-3000 and glue 4 of them together and add a little bit extra for process improvements you would score very similarly in Passmark's CPU test to an A10-6800k . . . so depending on how you test it it will probably sit pretty close to that. Both the PS4 and XBone are pretty much just a gaming laptop with no LCD attached and a fairly decent 1080p video card installed.
Arguably and A10 with a a 7870 would be a better buy since the machine is much more versatile, but you'd lose the 'set it and forget it' style of being able to buy a game and just play it out of the box . . . there is a lot to be said for not having to read specs and tweak settings for hours to get your games to run well. It's not all about hardware
