[citation][nom]ta152h[/nom]I don't know what part of America you are from, but she does not sound like an American. She doesn't have a heavy accent, but it's not neutral.I'm kind of surprised at how pathetic people are they are so fascinated with a girl stripping. I mean, really, there are videos all over the net, with girls who were born, or received surgery, for just that purpose. People complaining about sexism may as well complain about the tides, tooth decay, and Jupiter eating asteroids and comets. It's how Universe made everything, and you're not going to change it. May as well learn to like it. It's not that hard, really.[/citation]

I'm not from America, I'm from England, which is why I can tell it isn't a pure Irish accent, hence the comment.

And yup, it's the old opposites attract rule, the demographic for the site is male, middle aged, not particularly attractive, not particularly happy with their job, etc. etc. Jane counteracts that quite nicely, the contrast exaggerating her positive features and causing an inevitable torrent of VeryDemotivational forum style comments.

[citation][nom]Tmanishere[/nom]Do you actually play RTS Jane? I'm kinda wondering since I don't know of any woman that actually plays RTS. I think it's a myth.[/citation]

You obviously aren't friends with Jane on Facebook.

Yes, but countering that is her penchant for mentioning peeing on herself. I think that's neutralized the positives a bit, since I haven't seen these types of posts after it.

Of course, for the freaks, it may make her even more attractive. I'm pretty sure, though, that's not a demographic she's after.

seriously? nobody thought to use the term 'unboxing'? I'm a little disappointed that THG would deliberately use such a loaded title...I'm even more disappointed that the video was actually about a game...nice job anyway...(seriously though, 500w. lamp in a beauty dish with a 250w. hair light in a half dome=Internet Goddess)

I know everybody has said it, but i'll say it again in my own words: How about the real deal article, Jane??? you're at home...it's dark... you know...*wink*

show us some *wolf-whistle*...

star craft 2 ingame screenshots!!!!

hehe.

oh and getting naked wouldnt be bad either

[citation][nom]robwright[/nom]Oh good grief...Let's be honest, guys. Precious could be opening that StarCraft 2 case and you all would still be turned on.[/citation] LOL With this crowd though that's probably an incentive...Steve Jobs on the other hand would be a truer testament to our loyalty.

[citation][nom]JMcEntegart[/nom]Facebook is only for people I know in real life, sorry![/citation]

what is this 'real life' of which you speak? is it a spin-off of second life?

I won't pay $60 for it, but in a few months when it drops to $40 (or $30) I may pick it up. Some of the goodies in the Collector Edition are probably worth another $20 premium, maybe more.
And, good for you Jane, for eating right and taking care of yourself. That's not too common here in east Tennessee. I'm very glad my wife is that way too. She's not a gamer, but is very tolerant of my habit. If you're ever in the Knoxville area and would like a healthy meal, you'd be welcome to pay us a visit.

[citation][nom]aneasytarget[/nom]Jane: Ok, you have a full week to test SCII, expecting a full review / write up when you return to work.[/citation]

Unfortunately my sister is coming in from Ireland this evening and she's not quite as mad about the idea of StarCraft.

Direct quote regarding my going to GameStop at midnight:

"You're my sister, and I love you, but if you make me do nerd things of this magnitude at any point, I will go and find some nice, normal Canadians to do nice, normal people things with."

Gotta get it all out of my system today!!

I love how my question about creepy comments was met with some creepy replies, then more creepy comments. Ever seen Apocalypse Now? Remember that scene where the girls were putting on a show and the men freaked out like starving wolves getting the scent of blood?

I'll just leave it at that.

Man I gotta stop reading Toms hardware cuz you know, I'm too good looking and happy with my job, etc..., to be reading a site that's for not particularly attractive, not particularly happy with their job, etc... type of people!!!

i'm planning on getting this game, but i'm concerned of what DRM is it using.

do i have to be online to play the campaign? can i take out the cd from the drive? limited installs? disk check? cd key?

Good questions.

I do love that it comes with the original SC on a USB drive.
