on the Java website.I have tried everything from uninstalling Java to Uninstalling all of my browsers... I have been trying to fix this issue via google searchers for over a year now. I have completely given up.

Solution
Finally after 1+ years of trying to find the solution to this problem I have finally found the error.

For people who have this error:
Java verify page crashing w/o report on FF
Java verify page crashing IE
unable to run java.exe applications (By that I mean opens then immediately closes withing 1/10th of a second)
Have reinstalled java repeatedly but still have the issue

follow these steps:
1) Go to your computer's Control Panel
2) Navigate to System
3) Click on Advanced system settings
4) Click on the Advanced tab
5) Click on Environment Variables...
6) You should see JAVA_OPTIONS in the top box and/OR the bottom box
7) Select them and delete them then press OK
8) Close your browsers/ applications that you are trying to run Java...

What are you trying to run or is it just JAVA in general? If one specific thing is falling all the time its possible its not been signed (so your security is blocking it) you can change this though by either turning your security settings down or adding it to the trusted sites list (assuming your launching something from the web)
Go to Control panel -> Programs -> Java -> Security

While your there could you please go to the about tab as well and let me know what you have there?

I recommend you use either a 1.7 or 1.8 JDK

Matt.

Java in general just crashes when trying to use it.
A few examples are, Runescape, minecraft, java powered flash games, and even the Java verify page (which reads, like all the other crashes, The Java plugin has crashed. Reload the page to try again. No report available).

The weird part is that I can, after downloading an app yesterday, disable and enable java with a click. When I disable Java the verify page reads, "The Java Uninstall tool will only work if JavaScript is enabled. In some browsers, you can enable JavaScript from the Settings panel. If you have installed a browser add-on or extension that disables JavaScript (for example, an ad blocker), you will need to remove or disable the add-on."

Yet, when I re enable it, I get the same message of the plugin crashing.

Steps I have taken so far:
Uninstall ALL java related files on my computer - then reinstalled the newest versions.
Installed the offline version
Installed both bit types
Launched in safe mode both with and without networking (still same messages)
Changed the Boolean to false
Added sites to the security exception list
Reinstalled and updated all browsers (even though java does not work in downloaded Java powered programs either)

I have the Java control panel short cut on my desktop for quick access to try and fix problems but so far nothing has worked.

I am in the control panel and the only tabs I see are, General, Update, Java, Security, and Advanced

Under the general tab there should be an about box, can you click it and post a screenshot of whatever you get for me?

A little box pops up with,
