Jumper Settings Info

I'm setting up a home server out of a old computer. It is fast enough for storage and for one hard drive I cant find out how to set it to slave. It is not written on it. It is IDE. The model numeber is: WD400BB - 75FJA1

I know, but I want to find the settings for that hard drive. Many pages say MOST of the hard drives are the same not all.

IDE are obsolete drives, good luck finding the EXACT. Vendors often bundle merchandise of similar into SERIE BLAH-BLAH and give you one documentation for all. What the worst it can happen, it doesn't work. Nothing is gonna blow up dude.

You have a good point. Still like I said I'm using it as a NAS so the old computer will work for now. Trust me if I had SATA in that PC I would have used it.
