Just a little thermal paste on back side of cpu

So I had to send my new motherboard back for rma stuff, and when cleaning the thermal paste out of my i7 6700k some of that stuff got in the back side (no idea how), very thin line and it affected about 5 pin slots or whatever they are called when there are no pins nowadays. I got most of it out, when you look straight at them you can see very thin layer of greyish there, so is that bad?
I cleaned the cpu with these paper coffee things, I don't have that 90% alcohol at the moment.

Solution
Best bet is to go to the dollar store (or some cheap equivalent) and pick up some make-up removal triangles (at least that's the shape of the ones that I have used). They are a foam material that does a great job of removing every bit of thermal paste. Just dab some high grade rubbing alcohol on them and wipe away what is left.

Yep, thats one downside. There is so little of the thermal paste left and it's only on the pin sockets that I hoped a little that it was conducting. The layer is very thin, you can barely see it. Does it matter or can I just let it be?
