Solution
If you still have the boat anchor, you can likely get to refresh the bios by using the reset jumper which is located by the memory slots. From left to right there are three pins. Normally the one and two pins are jumpered; remove the jumper and place it on the two and three pins; leave it there for a few seconds, pressing the power switch on the cabinet; restore the jumper to the first two pins. You are now ready to boot.
