Hi guys, I'm currently upgrading from:
Asus M5A97 LE R2.0, AMD FX-6300 & HyperX Fury 2x4GB 1866MHz

To:
Asus Z270 Mark 2, Intel G4400 & HyperX Fury 2x4GB 2400 (already bought all mentioned parts)
The CPU a friend of mine gave it to me for free because he bought an i7 7700k and I know because of that I won't be able to overclock and the maximum RAM speed will be of 2133MHz... But that will change as soon as I buy an i7 7700k as well with a Watercooler.

The other parts are: EVGA ACX SC GTX 760, Corsair CX750M 2015 - Black Label (Not the green one), Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SSD and a NZXT Phantom 410

The reason I bought this motherboard is because I owned a Sabertooth 990FX back in the day so I kinda "trust" the Tuf series.

True question is: Besides the fact I don't have the best PSU and because of that I'll have to disable the CPU C-State feature, What you guys think of it running an i7 7700k + Watercooling + Maybe a little overlock? (No intentions on SLI or Crossfire)

Other future upgrades besides the CPU: GTX 1080 and a Watercooler (I haven't choosed the model yet).
Won't upgrade PSU unless it stops working someday.

Solution
No, the power supply isn't that bad. It's not a top of the line, but it isn't dangerous. I use a CX600m in my "server", a CS850m in my backup gamer, and a HX850 in my main gamer, all Corsair and I've never had any issues. But when you go cheap, that's when you can have real problems.
I agree with Isokolon, once you upgrade to an i5 or i7, you should be in good shape. After that, yes the GPU should be a thought. As for the cooler, I personally keep seeing too many people having issues with AIO water coolers for me to trust them and custom loops look like a total pain in the ass to construct and god forbid you need to swap parts. I'll continue to use air coolers such as the 212 EVO, the Cryorig H7, or possibly (if I come into money) a Noctua. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Understood, thanks.

I just got one for myself. Quite the upgrade from sandybridge.
7700K, GTX 1080, 32GB DDR4, etc etc.

There is one problem I'm having though.. I can't break through a 5 MB/s Download speed. Whether on Ethernet or a USB Wifi dongle. I have a 150 mbit connection. My laptop can download games on Steam at around 19 - 22 MB/s but not the desktop. I'm troubleshooting now......

Hello mate, I'm sorry for almost 2 months without answering you... Have you maneged to solve the problem? What was causing it? I wouldn't be able to tell you if that happens with me, once I live in a shitty country and my internet connection goes up to 3.2mpbs (download and upload).

Detail: I use a USB Wireless Adaptor.
