I just bought this laptop. Specs: Inspiron i5-7300HQ 2.5GHz, GTX 1050 ti 4GB vRam, 8GB DDR4 RAM. Wargame keeps freezing on me. Checked temps with HWINFO64 and no issues noted. CPU on Taskmanager is running at 100% while game is going. Dont know what is going on. Any suggestions?

A proper idle CPU reading means nothing at all running except Windows and it's own background stuff and basic things like an antivirus. So if it's more like 1-2% with no Chrome and such that's fine. In the startup tab in task manager anything that's not critical is safe to disable. Keep anything related to McAfee, and keep Onedrive if you use it or expect you might (though if you don't even sign in with a Microsoft cloud account, might as well disable it) and keep Windows defender. Dell's pre-loaded stuff can be disabled or outright uninstalled if you see no use for it.

from all processes going on, the minimum running seem to be only like 2-3% if i were to close chrome and pandora. HDD tab says only around 1%. I have a lot of processes, such as Macafee, lots of windows processes, etc running in the background. I don't know what else I can shut down to get this thing running well...
