[SOLVED] Just built a brand new pc but cpu temp to high?

Built a pc
Added enough thermal paste
Using stock cooler
90° when im in windows doing nothing
Used old hard drive from a different pc
Bios updated and haven't changed anything on the bios settings
help?

Is this in Fahrenheit or Celsius?
The stock cooler comes with thermal paste pre-applied, did you wipe off the old paste or did you just add it more? Do you have fans in the pc to aid airflow, is the ambient room temp high?

I fixed it thanks for trying to help i just factory reset and my cpu temp went back to normal 40°c
