Just built a new pc and had a power cut during BIOS update - MSI Z97 G45

So i had a power cut during a BIOS update and when power came back on my computer just started up for a few seconds and turned off and continued to do this by itself so I left it for a while and it stayed on and my monitor remained black. So i then turned it off and left it for a bit and when i turned it on all i got was a black screen. After doing a bit of research it seems like this has possibly "fried the bios chip" is there any way that i can test to see if that has happened and if so does anyone know where the bios chip is located on the MSI Z97 G45 motherboard and if it is replaceable or not.

That motherboard is gone since it doesn't have a dual BIOS. YOu'll need to RMA it and get a new one.
