Question just built a pc and set it up but can't activate freesync in amd software as it says its not supported?

I have the msi g274qpx and its gsync but I read that now monitors can support both but when I go on the amd software to turn on freesync it says its not supported. I can turn adaptive sync on my monitor setting when I click this button on the back but when I turn it on amd free sync option says adaptive sync enabled. How do I put on freesync?

Check your documentation to be sure you don't need a specific cable for that.

FreeSync is AMD brand name for Adaptive-Sync.
