Just built, It boots but no display.

So, just build a 2nd pc where the pc boots, but there's no display.

When i start the pc, the monitor turns on automaticly, so it detects that the pc is booting. But seems the video signal only stays there for like 1 sec. Seing as the monitor instantly after turning on, tells me that there's no signal.

Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M USB3 (about 3 years old).
CPU: AMD FX 6300 (new)
GPU: Asus gtx 650 Ti 2gb
RAM: Corsair XMS3 8gb (4x2) 1333MHz
PSU: SilverPower 500w (old)
SSD: Samsung 840 evo 120gb

The motherboard (with the old cpu) and psu worked fine when i put it back in their boxes about 8 months ago, the RAM was used in my current system up uintill about a week ago.


Any suggestions?

No, the bios is as far as i can remember the same that came with it when it bought it "25.12.2011".

then the cpu is not supported. you will need to update the bios.

No, the bios is as far as i can remember the same that came with it when it bought it "25.12.2011".

Was what i was afraid off. Was hoping to not have to switch the cpu again, but but.
