This is the build I followed: View: https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcforme/comments/j23g4b/mom_wants_a_new_computer_with_a_27_monitor_with/g73xc8e/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

I can't get a signal when I turn it on, it's an integrated graphics CPU which is new to me (my own personal build uses a graphics card) but when I plug it into the monitor using HDMI it tells me "no signal". The computer turns on and the fans spin etc, but the monitor won't pick anything up (the monitor works though, and recognizes that there is something in the HDMI port, just no signal).

I've checked all of these except plugging it into a monitor using VGA instead of HDMI, I'm about to drive to a friends to try that out (don't have a VGA monitor available myself).

320 series boards very likely need updating to run the 3400g.

It would be the first thing I'd think of personally in your case.
How can I go about doing that without a signal on the monitor?
