Just get ssd?

I've looking to get an ssd drive for my new rig. I was wondering should I just get ssd and not a had or both? Or just get 2 samsung 120gb 850 evo ssd they're currently going for 80$ each at canada computer.

$80 x 2 for the 120GB, or $99 for the 250GB.
That's a no brainer.

What are your space requirements? 250GB is pretty slim for the whole PC.

Depends on sales and how much space you need. Typically a SSD for the OS and maybe a game with long loading times like BF4 then grabbing a 1TB HDD for your other games and general storage.

Oh didn't see the 250gb deal nice or I can wait till boxing day and get the 500 fb for $179 . Space requirement just the os and some games maybe word process program, movies, music etc... Won't be using the pc for graphics design or work just mostly gaming.

yes getting 2 are affordable but you would run out of space very quickly lol. best configuration if you are starting fresh would be one 250GB SSD for OS, games and programs and one 1TB or more HDD for everything else

I dare say 250GB won't be enough.
Get the 250 for the OS and applications, and a 1TB HDD for movies and music. Those DO take up a lot of space.

i got that same drive at 250GB back in April and i haven't run into any space issues and i am using it for windows 10, programs, and a couple games from steam. but if you are able to get the same drive for 500GB at a good deal then go for it

I always use a SSD for my Os and then Mechanical drive for apps and games works great that way.

That is good solution, but if he could buy two ssd, why not. Bigger transfer speed and for other stuff, that's why I suggested that as solution.
