just got a new rig from cyberpower and it now boots only to uefi bios utility

just hooked up a new rig from cyberpower. first time booting it was fine then started having a few qwirks now after a partition error on restart it will only boot to the bios utility. i tried abfew things like switching to uefi mode on boot and it didnt help. tried unplugging the keyboard and rebooting and also moved it to a different location.

mobo tuf z270 mark 2 asus bios is 0604.
cpu intel core i7 7700k
32 GB ddr4 ram
gpu gforce 1080 ti
