So i recently got an rx480 and i installed in and plugged everything in and it was working fine. My main monitor was detecting it and there was no problems until i shut off my computer and tried turning it on again. It would come up with the already pre-installed "gigabyte built for strength" (or whatever the logo is) but as soon as it got past that boot screen it would not recognise that my HDMI connector was plugged in. I switched my main moniter to DVI and gave my second monitor the HDMI and it seems to be working fine now. Was this a problem with my main monitor's input?

Update: It's still not working even after i switched and i tried two different HDMI cables and they both don't work. Is it a problem with the actual GPU hdmi input?

Update 2: I just bought a display port to hdmi adapter so see if something was wrong with my port but it still doesn't work. I found out that nothing displays (After is shows the Motherboard Boot) on the screen and it says there is no connection but as soon as i take out the HDMI cable and put it back in it works fine while the PC is running. I'm very confused.

Yes i did. The HDMI port might be busted and i'm getting a Display port to HDMI adapter to see.
