It's a Cryorig M9i mini tower cooler, I have an intel CPU and everything fit perfectly. Every fan turns on and my computer makes the correct beeping noises. I've reinstalled the fan twice going in different directions (going towards the outside fan on my pc, going towards RAM) and neither have worked. It's really hard to install this fan so I'm losing my patients, I've checked all my plugs on my CPU board and they are exactly how they started except with my new CPU fan replacing the old one. Am I missing something easy here and could this not even be related to my CPU fan? I've never had this before I installed the fan but I did have to take the CPU board out to install it. Please help

Edit: a video of what happens and my computer here: https://youtu.be/e434Djkd7ig

Edit 2: CPU is an intel core (can't get more I for as my computer won't turn on). I have a GTX 750 TI and a PSU that supports 300 watts

Okay...This might sound stupid but when you installed the new CPU cooler did you take the sticker of the bottom of the Cryorig?...Lets assume you did.. Have you taken the Cryorig of and checked whether it seated properly on the IHS (top of the CPU) properly. Check to see that there was a good spread of TIM (thermal paste)..That's all I can think of at the moment as it sounds like the CPU is not getting a good contact with the Cryorig base plate and overheating thus immediately shutting itself of to protect itself. Hope it works out..

DId you clean the cpu's heat spreader before applying the new cooler?

As long as you have some quality thermal paste, thinner layer is better, not much to go wrong if connected correctly...

If necessary, go back to the origianl cooler to confirm as is still well with MB/CPU, otherwise...

Maybe you got a DOA cooler that is not supplying feedback to mb correctly, which then shuts the MB off thinking there is no cooler at all...
