Just installed windows 10 on custom build pc

I just installed windows 10 on my new custom pc I built but it is unusually slow. I mean it just took me 8 minutes to ge to google and it is very in responsive making simple tasks like control alt delete take 2 minutes. What can I do to fix this?

Update BIOS, make sure you have latest drivers that match motherboard from the makers web site.

Is it hdd or ssd?

I had a problem like that recently on my old desktop. The processor was rated for 3.5GHz but it ran at 0.87GHz constantly. If you go into the BIOS and disable Intel SpeedStep, it will help the CPU stop throttling. What specs do you have, btw?
