I'm putting together a new build for a family member this holiday and I was wondering if anyone sees anything wrong with this:

Don't mind the lack of case and stuff, I just need to a second opinion on if the system would be good for a beginner's build. If anyone has any input or suggestions to maybe make it cheaper without much sacrificed in the way of performance, they are welcome. Thank you in advance!

I'm not sure you can make it much cheaper. The big red flag is the PSU; I wouldn't saddle even a beginner with a dirt-cheap, archaic PSU for a GPU that requires supplementary power.

you could go for a DDR4 based system and save some cash, the DDR4 costs about half of the DDR5 ram kit.
