[SOLVED] Just seeing which would be better

So I'm upgrading my parents computer. I have an old Mobo... asus m5a78l-m lx plus and an old gpu nvidia 6600 series.
I figure the onboard graphics is newer than the gpu, but onboard graphics on this board are pretty poor as it is. Should i ise the gpu or nah? It's 256mb I believe.

Depends on the 6600. There were multiple versions. If it is a 64bit card, it is weaker. If it is a 128bit, it would be better. The 760g used Radeon HD 3000 graphics.
