Question K-Lite Codec Pack (Basic or Standard), should I install it?

Hi,

i have reinstalled Windows 10 and now I am proceding to install some essential software, but I was wondering if it is a good idea to install this audio-video codec pack...what do you think? Also, basic or standard version?

Is it actually usefull or are there better alternatives?

Unless you find a media you can't play with VLC - don't.

i haven't seen being mentioned in so many years, almost a decade

after i installed vlc, i forgot the thing existed

if you use vlc, there is no need for it at all, vlc covers anything the klite could ever offer afik
