K usb question

Plz bear with me because i may be posting in the wrong section.

K i wanna get this:

But all my usb pin slots in my mobo are used up so will it still work?

Do i just hook it up to like an ide or sata slot? or do i need to use the Usb that it came with?

looks like you need to use internal USB pins.

If you mean your mobo doesn't have any more usb headers (2x5pin onboard port), this adapter may help you

However, for less than the price of the internal reader and the adapter, you could get an external reader. Personally, I have this one, and have no problems with it

how would i get that usb inside though would i just plug it in on a usb slot in my back and them put the cable through a PCI slot?

^in reference to the adapter??
instead of plugging the card reader into the boards usb pins, you would plug it into the adapter, then feed the cable through the pci openings in the back of the PC and into your back panel usb ports.
