I have a K7N2 Delta-L and started using SpeedFan. It shows all kinds
of temperature sensors. I'm just trying to decide which are which. I
think Temp1 is the Motherboard/system and Temp2 is the CPU. And I
know the HD0 is the hard drive. But I have no idea what the others are
and I'd really like to find out what the "Remote Temp" is because it
seems very hot, but only goes up or down one degree.
Have anyone else who is using SpeedFan figured out all the sensors?
Thanks for any info...

SpeedFan Info:
-----------------------
Temp1: 91 F (System)
Temp2: 100 F (CPU)
Temp3: 84 F
Local Temp: 90 F
Remote Temp: 134 F
HD0: 95 F (Hard drive)
Temp1: 103 F

OR in Celsius

Temp1: 33 C (System)
Temp2: 39 C (CPU)
Temp3: 29 C
Local Temp: 32 C
Remote Temp: 56 C
HD0: 35 C (Hard drive)
Temp1: 40 C

System:
----------
Motherboard: MSI Model MS6570, K7N2 Delta-L
Bios: 6.00 pg (08/02/2004)
Memory: 1 Gig, Corsair Value Select
Video: Nvidia GeForce FX 5600
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 3000+ (2.1GHz)

Remote is your video card.....i have a 6800NU and it shows the temp as
REMOTE temp. The other ones are just sensors on your board that you dont
need. Local is Video card ambient temp.

Hope this helps.

You were exactly right! Thanks! I got a can of "Dust-Off", which is
just a small can of compressed air, and I gently squirted some air on
the video card. Each time I did it the temperature went down for
"Local Temp" and "Remote Temp". The latter went down more if I blew
air right into the side of the built-in fan.
Damn, those video cards get hot! Now I understand why people who do
water cooling add a GPU water-block.

I'd still like to find out what the Temp3 and the second Temp1 (from
chip ACPI) are. Temp3 seems to be measuring something, but the second
Temp1 stays flat at 88F.

Thanks again!

All your temps are good so relax. I think the one you're wondering
about is a southbridge sensor.
