k7s5a & ati radeon 9600 pro

Hello!
I have elite k7s5a and I just bought a (used) ati radeon 9600pro graphics
card. The system does not start at all. Windows may start but nothing on the
monitor!! Please help
Is it possible that k7s51 r1.0 does not support ati 9600?

A Radeon 8500 will work in the k7s5a, I would think a 9600 would work,
but I am not certain.

The 9600 should work, i`m running a 9800 aiw pro in mine,

Make sure that the card is well seated in the slot, the power cable is
connected etc.

Which version of windows are you using, have you tried starting in safe
mode, have you got the latest bios.

It could be a bad card or perhaps your PSU is too weak.
That card draws a lot of power.
