K8N Neo2 USB problems...

Hey there all,

I have just built a system using the above board, AMD 3200+, 2 x 512Gb
pc3200 (samsung), 6800 graphics and 80Gb hard drive (IBM)
Windows XP sp2.

I have the 09/22/2004-ms-7025-6a61cm4dc-00 bios and a 1.4 motherboard /

The problem is that USB is installed - and some things work in it ie: 256
memory pendrive, and an infrared reader, but a joystick wont be detected ?
I have pluged it into various USB sockets and sometimes it wil be detected,
but othertimes - and always at startup it is not.
I have seen other people have had problems with USB, on this board but have
come across no answer -

Any advice wouls be great - by the way - the joystick (MS sidewinder
precision 3d) works on other computers.
