Hi I bought a Geil® Value 512MB PC3200 Dual Chan DDR Kit (2x256MB) for
my AMD64 3200/Gigabyte k8nf-9 Skt939, and installed with no problems.
This is currently running in Dual channel (Slot1&2), well I think it
is.

I intend to upgrade this, but I'm thinking of putting 2*512mb Geil RAM
in as well as the 2*256 in slots 3&4. Will this work? or will I have
to put this in and take the 2*256 out.

Thanks in advance

If you want to see if your running in dual mode then download CPUZ from AMD.

I'm quite sure you need the same size modules in every slot for the memory
controller to cope - so you could only add 2*256 sticks - giving a total of
1Gb.
