Me thinks not fine sir. I am the not so proud and soon to be ex-owner of one of those fine dandies you like to call the k8nxp-sli. Maybe your situation will fare better than mine. If your not going to oc, great board, nice features, its fairly fast. If you are going to oc, well chances are your 3xht divider will not work. Second of all, after I did get it to work (flashing back to bios rev. F1) I noticed that in reverting to a previous bios revision, that my lan ports no longer work. So it was either oc it like I wanted, or be able to type you this warning here. Well, thats my humble opinion of the board.
And oh yea GB knows its a BIOS issue, and still hasnt answered me about it. Its ok, by the time I send this board back my K8n NEO4 Platinum will be here along with my other 6600gt :)

I know someone who owns one of these boards and has had no problem with it and says its the best board he's ever had.

Gigabyte GV-K8T800, AMD Athlon64 2800+,
1024MB PC3200 Samsung DDR, XFX Geforce 6600GT 128MB DDR3, IBM 120GB 7200 HDD, NEC 2500A 8x DVD Writer

Sorry for giving you my opinion like you REQUESTED. I never said they were garbage, if you actually read it, then you would have seen the part where I said its a feature rich, fast, and stable board (at stock settings). Dont ask for peoples opinions or what they have heard if you are simply going to come back and contradict someone.

I'm sorry if thats the way it came across. I wasn't trying to contradict you, I was just stating someone elses opinion on it.

Current: Gigabyte GV-K8T800, AMD A64 2800+ S754, 1GB PC3200, XFX Geforce 6600GT 128MB DDR3, 120GB HDD, NEC 2500A DVD-RW

I wish i never posted this now!

Current: Gigabyte GV-K8T800, AMD A64 2800+ S754, 1GB PC3200, XFX Geforce 6600GT 128MB DDR3, 120GB HDD, NEC 2500A DVD-RW

Well, Don't sweat it. The time to post would have been before ordering the mobo. The Gigabyte seems to be the worst overclocking NF4/SLI mobo. Other than that it should be fine as was said.

Here is a review you should have read before ordering an SLI motherboard. Still a good read now as this represents all the available SLI mobos, with Albatron soon to have one also. Not sure what's keeping ABIT from getting their SLI board out.

I've no plans to overclock

Current: Gigabyte GV-K8T800, AMD A64 2800+ S754, 1GB PC3200, XFX Geforce 6600GT 128MB DDR3, 120GB HDD, NEC 2500A DVD-RW

Then you should be very happy with it. Gigabyte makes good boards, just not sure what happened to the Overclocking abilities on that one.
