Hello,

My dvd burner burns everything except dvd (- as well as +)
I changed and tried everything concerning software.

De NEC is connected as secondary master. I used software such as nero 6,
iTunes, Winamp and WMP. However it doesn't succeed. Neither did the use of
different media. It just hnags without an error message.

I wonder if this problem is recognised and more significant, did someone
solve it. The dvd player is recognised, the dvd disc is recognised, but
after a task concerning write or rewrite a dvd results in continuous
processing without any result. It just goes on. No activity on the player.
It can only be stooped with a hard reset.

BTW flashing/updating firmware appears not to be possible.

Here is an idea. Remove the Nvidia IDE driver and use the standard
Microsoft one.
