How do I install default synaptics touchpad drivers in kali linux?

I have a dell inspiron n5110 lappy, and I recently installed kali 2.0, however the touchpad was not working as I was unable to click. I am a rookie to this.
I executed “modeprobe -r psmouse”, I need to reset the same to default as I later found a way to set the tap click online. Please help

Ps mouse is a kernel module. The driver is built into the kernel and already installed. You configure TouchPad via xorg configuration file.

Btw kali is a distro targeted towards professional pentesters. Suggest you use ubuntu instead of kali.
