Hi could anyone help me with Kaspersky first time using it after building my pc (1 year free with motherboard). The thing with it is when I'm trying to join a server using Steam Servers I can see them all but I cant join them. Should I just remove it completely and install something else? If so any suggestions? (Free is preferred)

The problem may not be related to KAV but assuming for now that it is, give Avast Free Antivirus a try instead:

Note: You must uninstall KAV first.

You shutdown and exit Kaspersky first to see if it is Kaspersky before downloading a new antivirus. I suspect its Kaspersky Encrypted Scanning that giving you trouble. Setting - Additional - Network - Do not scan encrypted connections.

But KAV costs money whereas Avast is free (as is Comodo Antivirus).
Both just as secure & safe as KAV (especially Comodo Antivirus which is more secure than KAV).
Why pay for a product when there are equally good (and better) free alternatives?
I've been using the free Comodo Internet Security for years with no issues and never been hacked or infected.
