Kboost wont activate

Well for the room temperature, make sure you're comfortable. I know I am, but most people would probably like their room temperature to be a couple of degrees hotter. Of course, the lower it is, the better your cooling will be. For the cooler, if it fits in your case, it's a great cooler, in my opinion. It isn't the cheapest and maybe just upgrading to an Evo 212 could make a huge difference. For now, go in your bios and disable the turbo clocks, change your Windows settings to Power Saving and verify your fans. This should already make a good difference.
