keep getting blue screen

suddenly i woke to find my computer freezing getting blue screen when i try to restart for some time it just don't even reach windows icon but that was for some time current problem is not the conistant blue screen specially when i open dota which is weird i have i7 4790k gtx 970 16gb ram and getting enough cooling and power so that is weird for a light game as such

Blue screen can be cause by any of these following reasons and more. I'll list whats most likely up top.
-Harddrive failing.
- Corrupt OS
- Bad Ram
- Bad Motherboard.
- Bad Powersupply

There is not a really way to check it except changing the parts or go back and see what the PC has been thru, most of them time hardrives fail due to sudden power loss and sudden power loss can be occured by PSU for example. Did you build/buy the PC brand new or did you get it used/used parts? If it's useed, you may not know what the PC has been thru and what happend to it.

Some BIOS have a 'log' section that log every error PC makes, you may have luck finding some in there, if you don't have a BIOS that logs errors, I'm not sure what else you can do than replace everypart that can lead to this problem such as bad PSU, faulty ram the list goes on, in my case I had this issue before and turned out it was my hardrive as I used to get lot of powercuts in my area and fried my hardrive.

Harddrives have a fixed lifespan 4-5 years average.
