Keep my GTX 970 SLI or upgrade to a 1070/1080?

Hey guys title says it all.
I'm playing 4k atm and my GTX 970 SLI(Asus Strix+Manual OC) works well but seeing the 1080 makes me want one!
Think its worth upgrading? I get a hefty discount on things from amazon so when they have it in stock the 1080 would cost me £420ish.
Is the 1080 gonna be a big enough jump from 970 sli? As it looks like after selling my cards im still paying £100 towards it!

I have SLI 970 and I can tell you 1080 will be big jump and more stable over the SLI 970.
My rough guess you looking at 35% jump.

Thats not bad. Especially for games that dont use SLI(Just cause 3)

Yeah.. so I was also considering tri sli but forgot my MB has no third slot ..lol
So I will wait it out, save up and down the road upgrade to gtx1080.
