I wanna setup a raid 0 array with 2x120gb ssds. I have windows on one of the SSDs. Is there any way I can transfer it to the array or will it clear out my SSDs and windows with it.

make a disk image, save image file to another drive. Build array. restore disk image to array.
image off image on

macrium reflect should do imaging
you can image to the array but it will not be bootable

hardware RAID has a dedicated RAID controller and RAM cache. it is the preferred RAID controller.
software RAID uses the system CPU and resources for raid and is slower than hardware raid
RAID-0 is a misnomer, there is no redundancy built in.
AID-0 is more accurate

That is a spectacularly bad idea.

And no, you can't keep the existing OS in place while you do this. You'd have to start over, after the RAID array is created.
But don't do that.
