maybe it's jsut me but ithink .. 4K monitor for gaming is useless now ... there is not enough powerful gpu or gpus to hande that Qaud HD monitor/TV 😀

I didn't buy a 2nd 670 just so I could have constant steady 1080p 60fps... Which isn't hard to get with 1 670.

Plus I need dat 4K so I can see the whites of the enemies eyes before I release my clips in their faces.

E.G. helps when you can see what part of the persons head you are aiming at, to get good kills 😛


1080p Soliders head from 500m away = single pixel.
 

You should try sharpshooting in Crysis 1..It's irritating as hell 🙁

I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't think it would work.


So bascially you are saying I need to get a new gen card that hasn't came out yet to even handle the bit rate and then I can run 4K

so everyone that is doing it now is just lying to themselves and their pc?

more pixels need more vram nad gpu power to ... all knows that .... 4k is same as 4 monitors of 1920x1080 .... how do you think .. will you get ram bottleneck on that resolution ?


for example ... battlefield 3 on ultra with 4x msaa on 3 1920x1080 needs more then 2 gb vram ... and even gtx 680 in sli got like 10 fps dips ....

Sorry to hear about your problem. Given that the product is outside of the DOA period, we do need to test the unit here first as well before going to the distributor.



Now more than likely in a situation like this, the distributor will push to send us a replacement card. We can push back to try get a credit/retail boxed card back from them, as if this happens we will be able to try organize exchanging for a different card. I can’t give any guarantees though unfortunately, as we are at the mercy of the distributor on this one.

Sigh, played Crysis 2 on GPU Boost and this time with no problems at all after exiting..Most people want their card to be a good one, whilst I'm practically wishing this card would screw up somehow so I can exchange it/get a refund..
 
where is the settings ? and AA ? maybe it's no medium and with no AA ... who knows .... ;/ ? and no realtime fps ..... omg is that hard to use fraps and show us settings on start ?


that guy is so lazy ;/

bigmack said that moded skyrim uses 3 gb of vram even on slingle 1920x1080 .... so how much vram it will use on 4 1920 monitors ? huh ??? same vram ?? okay ........
