Question Kernel 32 getlogicalprocessorinformation error when installing hp 2130 printer on win xp

I'm trying to install an hp 2130 printer on a 512MB Windows XP SP2 PC, when I try to open the setup application from the printer's CD ROM, the PC just reboots and then nothing happens, or it just pops up an error: Kernel32.dll error, the OS can't find the access point with the getlogicalprocess. So I thought there was something wrong with the CD ROM, therefore I downloaded the driver exe file from the official site, the same exact thing happened, I've tried to wipe out my whole hard drive and reinstall the OS from a bootable CD ROM to get rid of any potential viruses. However, The problem persisted, am I missing something here? Could it be a faulty OS copy? I would really appreciate the help

HP Product Page does list Windows 10 drivers only. I don't think Windows XP is supported, and even if it was, there's good chance SP3 would be needed.

Thank you so much my friend looks like I'm going to have to install SP3 rather than SP2
