That is an unusual BSOD code to get, I will get a friend to check the dump files for me

Update Nvidia drivers, that BSOD can be caused by them.

Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the BSOD. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors. - just a precaution as its an odd error code.

Thanks. ASAP please.

Done it a few months ago but this week it happened again and again... 7/8 and counting...

All I am doing is using Chrome and not playing any games. Though I did have Norton before it expired and then on Sunday I installed Bullguard Antivirus and on Tuesday / Wednesday it started happening again.

Laptop is just over a year old and not done any driver updates since I got it which I know is highly recommended to do so.

does the laptop have a utility you can use to update drivers? I am not sure if Dragon Centre does it or not - https://www.msi.com/Laptop/support/GE62VR-7RF-Apache-Pro.html#down-driver&Win10 64

MSI motherboards can use Live Update 6 but not sure about laptops.

you could download driverview, open view tab and set it to hide all microsoft drivers, and take a screenshot. Upload that to an image sharing website and show link here... or just use site you using already. It will give me an idea what drivers might be at fault.. maybe. its a start while I wait for gardenman to reply (he likely asleep now)

if its not in games and only in videos, it could be the intel drivers instead

Intel GPU drivers - newer version on MSI website. Website has version 23.20.16.5038 , PC has version 22.20.16.47..

could also update these:

Lan drivers - https://support.killernetworking.com/download/killer-drivers-installation-64bit/
card reader drivers showing as Win 7 drivers but as there aren't any newer, i doubt they problem here.

everything else seems up to date. or has newer driver versions than whats on MSI website

Hi, I ran the dump file through the debugger and got the following information: https://pste.eu/p/1iyw.html

File information:060519-12328-01.dmp (Jun 5 2019 - 11:48:17)
Bugcheck:KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION (13A)
Probably caused by:memory_corruption (Process: System)
Uptime:0 Day(s), 4 Hour(s), 02 Min(s), and 30 Sec(s)

Possible system page: https://www.msi.com/Laptop/support/GE62VR-7RF-Apache-Pro.html
There is a BIOS update available for your system (E16JBIMS.319). You are using version: E16JBIMS.311. Wait for additional information before deciding to update or not. Important: Verify that I have linked to the correct motherboard. Updating your BIOS can be risky. Never try it when you might lose power (lightning storms, recent power outages, etc).

This information can be used by others to help you. I can't help you with this. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.

You still have bits and pieces of norton on system
Aug 18 2014ccSetx64.sysCommon Client Settings driver (Symantec Security Technoligies)
that could be conflicting with Bullguard - the crash mentions Endpoint which is part of Norton

just trying to figure out how to remove it?

if you can't remove it, run autoruns and use it to stop the process from running at startup - if any program needs it, it can still be started up - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns

Norton all gone.

So is there any additional information from anyone? Correct update link for the motherboard?

When doing the update then will that mean the error will fully 100% go completely?

Done many updates in the past but don't think I've done a BIOS one.

Do I need both of them files or just the BIOS and not the Intel ME FW Update Tool ???

If both which to install first?

I wouldn't update the bios unless you continue to get BSOD after removing the norton program. from what i can understand of the crash, it was internet related so its likely the norton driver or Killer internet drivers were the cause.

To patch the security vulnerabilities (Intel SA-00086) Intel identified, update the Intel ME (Management Engine) driver and firmware for your system. Affected Models: MSI Notebooks, Vortex and VR ONE units which bundled with Intel 6th, 7th and 8th generation processor.

1. Run the Intel-SA-00086 Detection Tool to confirm whether the firmware update is needed.

2. Visit the product download page to download the latest BIOS and Intel ME update tool. Estimated Release Date for the ME Update Tool: - Intel 6th Generation Processor: Dec. 12th, 2017 - Intel 7th Generation Processor: Dec. 4th, 2017 - Intel 8th Generation Processor: Dec. 4th, 2017

3. Update the latest BIOS, Intel ME driver and firmware to patch the security vulnerabilities. (Refer to the firmware update guide for the detail steps) [12/06 Update]

Notice: If you have "Error 8719:Firmware update cannot be initiated because Local Firmware update is disabled." after running the ME Update tool, there will be new BIOS release to solve the problem. New BIOS will be released right away once finished testing. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

More information, please visit Intel websites. *1: https://security-center.intel.com/advisory.aspx?intelid=INTEL-SA-00086&languageid=en-fr *2: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000025619/software.html
- from FAQ section of laptop website

I have to assume the firmware update guide is included in the bios zip file?

unusual of MSI to not have a video showing how to update the bios. Quickstart guide isn't much help. So far only video I can find is in Polish

I got that Killer Control Center and comes up with No Killer Network Interfaces Connected.

When it started happening again I was away at a Travellodge but now as I am back home on a 100% secure connection, it still does it. If that is any help as to why it's happening.

Done it twice today since removing all Norton items.

It wouldn't have anything to do with Bullguard Antivirus would it as before I installed it (last Sunday), it only just done it once and no more since then.

On here it says about third party software. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14238/windows-10-troubleshoot-blue-screen-errors

Do you use wifi or Ethernet?

Killer is for ethernet
Sep 14 2016 e2xw10x64.sys Killer PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller driver
Jun 14 2018 KfeCo10X64.sys Killer Networking Suite driver

the error sequence mentions NETIO.sys, that is the driver windows uses for Network Input Output so something network related is involved. It could be bullguard, since crashes did start after you installed it. But as you say it had happened before in the past, its likely something else.

We can try to force the driver that is causing this to show itself. Look at second post in this thread and make sure to do the 2 steps before you run it as it can cause a boot loop - https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...nclude-in-blue-screen-of-death-posts.3468965/

Wifi. Never used the other on this laptop. Used a different connection on this laptop (un secure) before then last year and that was completely fine then.

I rather not do that method as I probably would end up doing something wrong. I'll try uninstalling Bullguard and go back to Norton and see what happens.

well, the intel wifi drivers you have are newer than what is on MSI website, probably came from Microsoft.

@PC Tailor might be able to scan files and see something more?

Alas, very few updates every guarantee they will fix problems, I wish they did.

I can understand reluctance to run verifier, it just makes it harder to find the cause unless a BSOD mentions it.
What I normally do is replace really old drivers as they more likely to blame than newer ones

this is too old for a WIn 10 driver
Jun 04 2010winio64.sysMSI Dragon Gaming Center driver
it might be fine but it makes me wonder why they haven't updated it in 9 years.

If you are getting new BSOD, please share dumps as it might show the cause.

I have ran through the debugger - and I'm certain nearly everything has been covered by @gardenman . So not sure how much this will add but you can view the full report here: https://pste.eu/p/lcPM.html

(Sorry I have not had a chance to review all of his report as I am currently away).

Probably caused by : NETIO.SYS ( NETIO!NetiopIoWorkItemRoutine+48 )

KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION (13a)

The kernel mode heap manager has detected corruption in a heap.

Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000011, Type of corruption detected
Arg2: ffff8186eca02100, Address of the heap that reported the corruption
Arg3: ffff818773914080, Address at which the corruption was detected
Arg4: 0000000000000000

BUGCHECK_STR: 0x13a_11_@GM6
DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: WIN8_DRIVER_FAULT
PROCESS_NAME: System
MODULE_NAME: NETIO
IMAGE_NAME: NETIO.SYS

I have noticed the following whether they are related to your issue or not - @Colif and others can add more detail:
  • The NETIO system driver was in the stack leading up to the crash, it is highly likely this could be a factor causing the crash (as Colif has already stated)
  • You have a mix of Norton / Malwarebytes / Bullguard - and even 1 Bitdefender sub product. It is very common for multiple antimalware softwares to cause conflictions.
  • The MWAC.sys (MalwareBytes Web Access Control) driver is a common cause of various BSOD.
  • Your BIOS version may be out of date - and if so, this may also be the same for your Intel Management Enginer Driver.
More details can be found on the report - I have not included the full Analyze report as this will undoubtedly be covered by Gardenmans report.

The bitdefender module is part of Bullguard, its used by a few AV products. not unusual. Bitdefender seem to share their detection libraries (probably a paid service) as they have a high detection rate. Gardenman & I have seen that already, we marked as such in paste file
May 17 2016 BdAgent.sys BitDefender Agent driver https://www.bitdefender.com OR BullGuard Security Agent (BullGuard Ltd.) OR other anti-virus software

Try removing all AV products and use defender for a while and see if you keep getting BSOD.
