kernel-power 41 (63) critical error

Hi,
My PC automatically restart when I'm playing games, I've checked my ram, gpu and cpu but they all worked fine.
My PC specs are:
Intel core i5 4670k
Nvidia gtx 970
Msi Z97 gaming 5
Coolermaster v650 (PSU)

and the error description says

Should I uncheck the restart automatically by system error button?

event 41 is created by windows on startup after it discovers it wasn't closed down correctly the time before. Its a reaction, not the cause

If you ran memtest86 on ram, intel processor diagnostic tool on CPU and tested GPU, it has to be something you didn't test

are you overclocked?

run hwinfo in the background, at start set it to sensors only. Check your voltages and temps in game as if you run too hot, PC may restart

When I'm gaming the temperatures are around 50 degrees celsius and I can't do the memtest86 because I don't have an available drive at the moment. I did do a diagnostic test for my CPU and here are the results: https://ibb.co/gvQ08F And yes I'm overclocking

2. Reinstall Intel® Management Driver.
3. Update motherboard BIOS.

After these steps, run the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool again and if issue persists contact our support Center.

I've tried reinstalling the chipset driver and intel management driver and then doing the test but the PCH still fails. So I tried updating my BIOS, but when I do, the updating process keeps getting stuck at 100% and I've waited an hour. When I shut down my PC everthing is still fine, but the BIOS stays at the old firmware.

how are you updating bios?

if you doing it through windows using MSI Live Update utility, try using the tool built into the bios, it should not take any longer than a minute.
You can download the bios itself and put it on USB, then boot into bios - I assume there is a tool in the bios that updates them
If you are using the tool built into the bios, I would start to suspect the motherboard is the reason for restarts..

I tried updating in the BIOS with MSI M-flash and I haven't used MSI live update utility.

most likely the flash succeeded the "updating Bios Me 100%" is the final stage where it updates the Intel management engine(Me) witch is separate from the code that actually allows the machine to post as to it not displaying the correct version number ... well it didn't reboot on its own idk just be happy it didn't brick
every-time I read about something like this I sigh and wonder why the industry hasn't come up with a better solution

that thread didn't help my problem, I've tried resetting my BIOS but the thread is pretty vague.

i don't like messing with a bios as getting it wrong can lead to bad things. I would check with MSI forums and ask what they suggest you do about flashing bios.

I've managed to update my BIOS by taking my motherboard battery out overnight, but when I run the intel diagnostic test, the PCH still fails!

ok, the PCH now passes the test but my pc still restarts when playing games. :l

I've tried using my onboard graphics and my pc didn't restart, so the problem is my graphics card but I don't wanna buy another video card.
