Hi,
I just build my brother a pc and it works fine if i play none demanding games like my summer car but if i try to run some demanding games like gta iv it runs for a while and then i get bluescreen and error code 'kernel power 41'.
Parts:
Gpu: Gtx 1050 ti msi gaming x 4gb
Cpu: I5 7400
Mobo: Gigabyte H270 HD3
PSU: be quet! system power 8 500w (80+)
Ram: Hyper X DDR4 4gb x 2
HDD: WD 1tb blue
So to my under standing 'kernel power 41' just means that the computer restarted incorrectly and isn't too useful when diagnosing.
Things i've tried:
Cheking cpu and gpu temps
Running 3dmark stress test
Teasted ram with mdsched.exe (windownses ram tester)
Updating most drivers avalible from gigabytes website (still open for driver update suggestions)
Turning gpu power limit to 70% with after burner
Turning onboard audio off from bios
Turning fast start up off
The last 2 probably sound weird but someone said somewhere that those coud help
So does that only leave the possibility of faulty psu? Or is there still some possible softwere issues? And i won't be able to test this with a psu that is proven to work as my own computer is 100km away.
Also the part were cold on arrival as it's winter here and the post car apereantly wasn't too warm so could that have damaged my psu or other components?
Sorry if my english wasn't the best i'm not a native speaker and also thanks in advance
