Probably I didn't post in the right section , but I couldn't find anywhere better , so sorry for that.

What happened to me is something I don't really know. A friend came over with his pc trying to test it so no problem , plugged all his things in , monitor keyboard mouse and everything working just fine , excepting for the keys number 1-2-3-4-7-8-9-0 . 5 and 6 working only. Tried plugging my PC back , same problem. Other keyboards work just fine on both PC's but the keyboard used then is having the problem on all other PC's now. Not sure if it was caused by plugging it into his PC or by what was caused.

Tried googling my problem , obviously found some results , but not a fix , just several other people having the same issues , some with laptopt which can somehow be fixed but it wasn't my case because I don't have a Fn key on my keyboard.

So , yeah , just as the title is saying , it kinda pisses me off because I'm a gamer and I often use those keys so I kinda need them working back. If anyone knows a fix or anything I can try , help would be pretty much appreciated. Thanks in advice.

Solution
it works for me, its just a link to forum posts, the one I linked to is 4th from bottom, last poster says it worked for them too.

this link shows same solution: http://superuser.com/questions/147747/some-keyboard-keys-not-working-properly

I can see you saw it already as you say you don't have a function key. try Ctrl Alt Win key for 10 seconds and then test keys. I cannot find anything else. Tempted to ask Microsoft what they key combo is for, it used to be for Internet Explorer but was discontinued.

This problem has been on here twice in the last 5 years and no one linked to that solution. I hope it works for you, it must be a legacy kb control as its not listed in any short cut guides.
Could try this...
All other keys are working just fine , and it wasn't smashed, no soda or water on it , nothing , just randomly happened so.

The best thing I can come up to is that it somehow got encrypted on another kind-of-thing I don't even know how to name it yet , but it encoded itself in so way that exactly numbers I specified are not working. Thus so it's one in a million shot what I am saying but considering other people are having the exact same problem...

Anyways , if anyone has discovered how to fix this , I'm still looking forward to getting the answer

yes , I have. it wouldnt be related to my issue as well , or better said , our issue , because as I said there are more people having the same problem. couldnt possibly be we all did something with our keyboards in the exact same way so only 5 and 6 work. not to mention I havent even hit my keyboard or anything. but yeah , I have tried cleaning , still nothing to work.

umm . link not working ?

Ran into the same problem with MOTOSPEED RGB keyboard. The only thing that worked so far is to change language preferences in windows11 to some other language temporarily, then change back. I went to Australian English that way I could still read the text. This worked until I turned off the computer and something reset, anyway, cheers 😛
