Keyboard (Blackwidow Ultimate) Brick

I was havingissues with my Blackwidow ultimate for the past day - it bricked. I remember it happened a year ago and I looked up the solution again. After going through the process to unbrick it, installing older firmware and old drivers for it, nothing worked this time.


I ended up going around and looking for more posts that involved the bricking process and just ended up downloading older drivers for the keyboard. After downloading these older drivers, I knew I would have to uninstall my current BWU drivers - so I did. NOW, my mouse and my already not working keyboard are not working. I am stumped.

-Keyboard does not work because it is bricked.

Please post all solutions xD i'm at a huge loss right now.

EDIT: I was able to use another keyboard to get into safe mode, the backup keyboard and mouse are working.

Try another keyboard and mouse. Try your keyboard and mouse on another pc - to work out whether it's your pc or the mouse and/or keyboard.

Are they by any chance plugged into the usb 3.0 ports? I remember once I tried to plug my mouse and keyboard into usb 3.0 and since at the time I didn't have the drivers for usb 3.0 it didn't work.
